Individual Therapy

Psychotherapy involves a conversation between the two of us in a safe, confidential environment.  Together we will work to develop a greater awareness of your feelings, experiences and needs.   You will be able to identify harmful patterns of thinking and behaving, and develop more effective skills for living.

I have experience with a wide variety of needs, including:

  • Adjustment difficulties – illness, disability, job stress;
  • Depression;
  • Anxiety;
  • Trauma & abuse;
  • Anger management;
  • LGBTQ issues;
  • Relationship problems – social anxiety, difficulty forming relationships;
  • Life passages – bereavement, divorce, retirement, existential concerns;
  • Spiritual & religious concerns.

Psychotherapy can help you deal with difficult emotions;  improve self esteem, develop better relationships;  manage stress;  communicate more effectively;  and be more creative.
