I have more than 40 years experience in psychology.
From 1974 until in 2001, I was a professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, first in the Department of Special Education and later in the Department of Human Development and Applied Psychology. At OISE/UT I conducted research and taught courses in special education and psychology. My research has been widely published in books and international journals.
I obtained my clinical training post-doctorate, and had supervised practice at St. Michael’s Hospital and in private practice. I was licensed as a registered psychologist in 1996 and have engaged in private practice since then.
I am a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, the Ontario Psychological Association and the International Association for Relational Psychology and Psychoanalysis.
