One in 6 Canadians have unmet mental health needs

About one in six Canadians say their mental health care needs were unmet last year.  This is according to the 2012 Canadian Community Health Survey of more than 25,000 people conducted by Statistics Canada.

Most of those surveyed said they needed counselling, although needs were for medication and information about mental health were also reported.
